Final sem

Arghhhhh....tomoro is new year eve, i know...but most important is tomoro will be 1st day of my final sem in UM. so unbelievable!!!

I still remembered haluansiswa in 12th college...crazy one week, tortured by seniors but i was still getting fun and knew uni best fren until now!! walking in the 12th college "beautiful" and stingy lake then "swimming" on the freezing cold hall floor ...so unforgettable...

haiz...time flies...here I am! Final year final sem. That's wat I dreamt of when I was in 1st sem, alwayz wanna become final year student. But now...blah blah blah...that's human nature. never satisfied what we have now, alwayz dream of sth.

Uni life is much exciting than I thought. However, there are so many things that I haven't tried. I sure will fully use my final sem time to try it all. I still haven't thouroughly discover KL...I muz find out all interesting stuff behind KL!!=)

Fresh start tomoro, I hope so. Thesis is waiting for me and there'll b mid term presentation on next thursday. I guess final sem will not b as enjoyable as before.

I didn't really like the way he sang in the beginning of AI, but I'm touched when he sang "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman"...When I started enjoy his performance, he was shockingly voted off by America.

But soon, he came out with an album. And, this song - Home is my all time favourite. Today, I found this song has gone missing from my song list, so I download it again and listening to it again n again...This song really...Amazing!! The lyrics really meaningful and touching...

Kids

For the past two weeks, I have been worked in two children camps! One is on last thursday at IBM centre (especially for IBM employees' children) and the other one is on yesterday at National Science Centre.

The fun camps is organized by Mad Science. This program is brought from Canada and they have more than 60 different topics and stuffs all from Canada. The program main objective is to help children in learning science theories and build interest of science in them.

I really had very very long time din working with kids liao...so this job is kinda challenging for me in the beginning. First, I'm not really good in handling kids and secondly, all the kids there are from international school or from rich rich family, some of their english even much better than me...sweating...

But, somehow they still kids...haha!! I still can teach them science.

Kids nowadays really much different from kids at old times like me. They have really good science basic knowledge even in small age. And, they like to throw bunch of questions to instructor and assistants! Some questions have made us shocked for a second and try to figure out how to answer it well and make them stop questioning same thing again and again...sweating *2...

However, learning with kids really fun la!! Can play some little games with them and all the childhood's sweet memories suddenly flash back in my mind...

Hopefully I have more chances to be part-timer in this type of children's program in future lo.=)

Batu Caves + Kepong + Selayang

Last saturday, we departed for Batu Caves in early morning. Planned to go at 7am, but u know the bed is so comfort and the air is so cool...we slept until 6.45am...so at last we departed at about 7.45am...

It's my 1st time visit to Batu Caves. For this tourist's spot, WWC became our tour guide.

We climbed total of 242 stair cases to reach the top.

Many Hindu God inside Batu Caves, sorry that I did not recognize any of them.

And, not forgotten the active monkeys jumping here and there. Ppl who with plastic bags should never go near to the monkeys, bcoz the monkeys will jump to ur body to stole ur plastic bag...

After leaving Batu Caves, we went to Selayang to meet Happy then went to Kepong to eat the famous Kepong Crab.

Then, there is no where else to go. Finally, we went to Selayang Mall. (the mall that not much ppl wanna shop). Walk and walk...end up with bored and tired...At last, we decided to say "ciao!" to each other and heading home...haha!!

Secret Recipe Day

10th December 2007 is 10th anniversary of Secret Recipe. They have special offer in 10 outlets at KL, Shah Alam and Putrajaya!! Buy one whole cake, get another one for FREE!!! walao eh, it's really crazy!! (for cake lover like me!!)

So, in early morning, I decided to go to join all cake lovers!!

At 9am, I go to Secret Recipe outlet at SS2 with Alex, WWC and Zying. Luckily, we come 1 hour earlier (they starts selling at 10am). We still considered at the front of the queue, about 20ppl in front of us. After that, more and more ppl join the queue...at about 9.30am, the queue alredy reach next block!! For sure, this is very rare scene, so some ppl starts to take out their camera and take photos...

Finally, it's 10am!! The crowd starts going insane!! Many ppl who comes late, feel that they dun have a chance to get the cake, starts playing dirty...they start by forming another queue...then, all of a sudden, a "Secret" agent uncle show up and scold all these dirty ppl, take up one by one who cut the queue!! really "sweating..."...

So many scenerios happen...some aunties want the cake so badly that they could do anything!! Some pretend to be ur fren and ask to queue at ur front, some offer extra money for u to buy her a cake!! Some even grab a baby and wanna cut the queue...These ppl could do anything jz wanna getting a ...cake!!

After sticking our bodies together without letting any person "cut" between us, we successfully get our cake-- the famous marble cheese cake and chocolate indulgence cake!!

With two super size pieces of cake, I didn't eat anything until midnite!! really amazing!! What's more I can say?? I love cake, I love Secret Recipe!!=)

when dream is dream

jz cam back from trip to Batu Caves...so tired! The Batu Caves trip will b updated later when i have all the photos...

This post I wanna talk about singing. I like to sing since I were small, but never took part in any singing competition la, jz sing for syok only. For sure, I love singing in ktv, can jump, sing, scream and whatever!!

I have been told by one of my frens that she will take part in audition of Project Superstar season 3 at The Mines this sunday. So, some frens and I went to ktv sing k for practicing with her on wednesday. We sang for 5 hours. And, guess what? I feel like may b I can give a try on this sunday!!

Yesterday, my fren wanna practice again!! So, we went to same KTV once again bcoz the cost there is so low, RM 5++ can sing from 2-7pm. We sing and sing and sing...since there is no so many customer, so we can continue to sing after 7pm. We keep singing n singing ...until 9pm!! That means we sang for 7hours!! (another record achieved, yeah!!)

But, joy sometimes end up with pain...my throat starts to aching after that crazy 7-hours singing. I think the main cause is the song I sang...I sang my favourite Eason's song - "Fau Kua" twice yesterday!! I scream like I met Britney, everyone jz stare on me. But the song is so greaaaat, so I jz enjoy singing until the last second of that song. And it paid...Today, my sore throat getting worse and worse.

For tomorrow's audition, most probably I can't go liao. How am I going to sing with the condition like this? I thought this audition is an opportunity for me to try different stuff. I like to try things that is new to me.

But, for this case, may b I should give up. There is alwayz nice to have a dream. And, we should realize that the dream is dream.

wet wet wet

After one shiny super HOT week, today starts raining...and rained for whole day...

The torturing hot sun still in my head, the rain comes in a sudden when I woke up this morning.

When the unbearably hot sun in the sky, ppl dare not to hanging out bcoz afraid suffered from heat stress. However, in a 24 hours continuous rainy day, ppl hate to go out too!!

haiz...why weather in Malaysia so extreme?

I should be get used to it well alredy, but I guess I'm not. Who do?

McD-ing @ midnite

In this week, I had my supper with frens and housemates at McD 3 times alredy!! Since supper at mamak has became an ordinary gathering/activity, we tried to make some difference!!

Actually McD is a great place to gather and chit chat for long period at midnite compare to mamak. There are several factors to support my point la! First, McD is much more clean place compared to mamak. Second, McD does not have so much smoke around me, the smoke makes me sick. Then, we do not have to care about the weather/raining, there is roof at McD!(of coz...) Last but not least, McD offer unlimited drink refilled service!! What to say? I'm Lovin' it!!!

I know I know…some might say food at McD so much calories and will badly effect our health. However, outside food at everywhere is same la!!

McD seems can provide nice and comfortable place to midnite hang-outers, but it may not suit certain people, like football lovers! I still will go to mamak to watch big football match, even during rainy nite!! The mamak environment make people can shout, jump and do whatever they like when watching football match, nobody cares!! In this case, I'll say “I'm Lovin' it” to mamak stall as well!!hehe!!
